Virgin Islands Weddings, for memories of a lifetime. The Virgin Islands are wonderful for making lasting memories. There are several wedding coordinators available to take care of all the details, and most resorts offer wedding packages for both intimate ceremonies and all-out celebrations. They will keep in close contact with you throughout the wedding planning, and can arrange flowers, music, photographers, catering, and hotel and travel arrangements for you and your guests. 
There are many, many possible venues. Exchange rings barefoot on the beach, or in a gazebo adorned with tropical plants at a botanical garden. Say your vows on the deck of an elegant yacht, or on the deck of a luxurious private villa overlooking the Ocean. Several churches, a synagogue, and even a Buddhist temple are available for a more traditional ceremony. 
Your wedding coordinator can guide you through the legal requirements for marriage in the U.S. Virgin Islands. There is an 8 day waiting period after your marriage application is filed. No blood test is required. If one or both parties are divorced, you must provide a certified copy of the divorce decree or a notarized affidavit stating when the divorce was granted. Mail your application to the Superior Court of the Virgin Islands, P.O. box 70, St. Thomas, U.S.V.I. 00804 along with the $100.00 combination application and license fee ( personal checks are not accepted ). To be married by a Judge, there is an additional fee of $200.00. Judges are available Monday through Friday by appointment. An extra $150.00 is added for Sundays and holidays.
